Very unusual boudoir cabinet card topless image of young Apache maiden
taken in the Capital Art Gallery operated by D. F. Mitchell and Erwin
Baer of Prescott, Arizona Territory c 1885. Period pencil ID indicates
that this is Geronimo's wife but has not been verified. Print a bit light,
flaking of the mount at corners and surface soil on print and mount.
Scan
indicates condition and content more clearly. A great piece of western

Spectacular, historic image of Civil War General Arney, later Governor
of New Mexico taken by Alexander Gardner in Brady's studio on an E. &
H. T. Anthony Brady's National Portrait Gallery mount. Arney wears the
buckskin suit that he loaned to Gardner for his famous portrait. Arney
is at three quarter pose and has a skin cape an dhat. Wonderful Navajo
blankets are props on the floor ad left of image. Great Civil War backdrop.
A very historic image of an important Civil War and Western political
figure by one of the greatest 19th century photographers. $900.

of 7 teepees, horse and wagons ca 1890. Location and photographer unknown,
but was located with other images from Dakotas by Goffe and Locke.Image
